About us
Our Story
In February 2019, we booked a standard All-Inclusive resort in Costa Rica, on a whim, when other travel plans fell through. To give some context of who we are right off the hop; at that time we were both in corporate sales and needed a place we could decompress and get some serious R&R. But we also needed a place that could provide some adventure after the All-Inclusive groundhog day.
Cue day 2 of beach-bumming it at our resort. We decided to catch a shuttle ride into the little town of Playas Del Coco. We left after breakfast with the intention of being back before supper. We barely caught the last shuttle back around midnight. We fell in LOVE with this place and the people!
The rest of our vacation was dedicated to memorizing the shuttle schedule heading into town. Day 4 was HOT. Desperately in need of an air-conditioned building to cool us down, we walked into a real estate office pretending to look at properties. We explained to the agent we were "pipe dreaming." The next thing we knew, we were in his car (With AC) driving around Coco looking at properties. Three weeks later we were the proud new owners of a condo in Playas del Coco.
Our Why
We'll never forget the day we arrived in this beautiful country. Costa Rica has a way of pulling you in - we felt this instantly and are certain you will too. We were, and continue to be, enamoured with this beautiful Country's rainforests, beaches, river valleys, and bio-diverse wildlife, not to mention the people, the food, and the festive atmosphere. Every experience we had there made us breathe deeper, think clearer, and become even more grounded.
Our Hope for You
We want people to experience what we do when in Costa Rica. Whether you converse with the lovely locals, or invest in an economy that invests so much into their land and protection of our planets rainforest's and national parks, or just relax on a beach enjoying majestic sunsets, there is ultimately something for everyone here. We want people to create great memories and hope we can play a part in helping you find your Zen in Costa Rica.

Playas del Coco
Playa Del Coco was once known as a small fishing town but has gained a lot of popularity over the past decade or so. It’s one of the more popular beach towns in Costa Rica due to it’s proximity to many amenities and has some of the most agreeable weather year-round. It’s a perfect little town for both locals and tourists alike. The idea behind our site was to make your trip as easy as possible to plan by adding tips, tricks and places to see, eat and explore.
